Project Lesotho

We have just returned from a very cold but equally productive expedition in Lesotho after 2 weeks of performing at schools, hospitals, and clinics, teaching workshops, and desperately trying to keep warm. Since it was school holidays, we had the opportunity to partner with Medecins Sans Frontieres for the first time in the region. Hopefully, it is a beginning to future collaborations. CWBSA also continued our partnership with the Malealea Development Trust providing professional development to an amazing theatre ensemble that uses drama to raise awareness of issues in the community - our 4th visit to Malealea. We are all very grateful for the generous support of countless individuals (you know who you are!) as well as St. Luke's Mission and the Malealea Lodge for accommodation. One cannot forget Imperial Car Rental-Europcar's indispensable vehicle sponsorship without which we would have never negotiated the many rocky and virtually nonexistent Basotho roads. Thank you!
