Over the next 2 weeks, Clowns Without Borders will be conducting 2 Njabulo Artist Residencies in rural communities of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Our core staff of facilitating artists will be working in Ixopo and Underberg with the Woza Moya Project and Project Khuphuka.
Project Siyazisiza (Helping Ourselves) and Project Siyajabula (We are Happy) will focus on providing children and guardians affected by HIV/AIDS with the opportunity to reawaken to joy and happiness while finding the means to cope with stress and challenges in life.
Part of an ongoing internal development of our own capacity to expand our programmes throughout Southern Africa, it is the first time Clowns Without Borders will have 2 residencies in the field at one time. Very exciting!
Stay tuned for reports from the field!
