Clowns Without Borders will be performing with the People's Educational Theatre at the Bushfire Festival in Swaziland from 27-29 May. It is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness about our work and connect our partners in Swaziland to greater artistic and professional opportunities. The Bushfire Festival is the biggest arts festival in Swaziland attracting local and international performers from around the world.
As part of a Breadline Africa funded project called Vuka Mphakathi (Awakening Our Community), we are training local Swazi artists from PET in clown performance over the next 2 weeks. After the Bushfire Festival, we will be performing in schools throughout Mbabane for children affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty.
Stay tuned for future updates!
